Computer Science Student at Xavier University
Hello! I'm Dylan Fahrnbach, a 19-year-old Computer Science student at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm passionate about technology and computer science. Recently, I have become increasingly interested in Machine Learning and AI. I am also interested in their applications into the financial sector. As my interests have grown, I have began creating more and more projects, mainly in Python and Java, to further explore my interests. In the projects section of this website you can find examples of my work. Some of them are more serious and others are more for fun and recreational uses. Please take a look!
In addition to my academic pursuits, I was a member of the varsity basketball team and participated in the DECA club during my time at Milford High School. These experiences have helped me develop strong teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills. In my first year of DECA my partner and I won the district level competition for our work and went on to compete at the state level competition in Columbus, Ohio. This was a great experience and oppurtunity to learn more about teamwork and collaboration along with important marketing skills.

Notable Classes: AP Computer Science A, AP Computer Science Principles
Python is my favorite programming language at the moment. I appreciate the applications of Python in both the financial world and in the development in AI/ML. As of recent, I have been learning more about HTML/CSS and JavaScript in an attempt to become more proficient in web development. Java happens to be the first language that I learned in my AP Computer Science A course my senior year of high school. I mostly use java now for minecraft mods/plugins.
Beyond software development, I have hands-on experience building and customizing computers since I was 12 years old. Here are some of my builds:
Here are some of the projects I've worked on. I'm constantly learning and building new things, even adding to these current projects!
My most recent project that I completed on 3/8/2025. This project is an AI hedge fund experiment that uses 8 AI analysts and 1 AI fund manager to make investmensts. The fund manager makes the final judgement from the analysts picks and paper trades the stock positions. This is purely a fun experiment to see how the AI can perform.
This project is a Minecraft server plugin that uses GPT-4 to generate text in the chat after the user inputs a "/ask" prompt. The user can ask minecraft related questions and the AI will generate an accurate response. This is a fun project that I completed in my free time.
This project is a facial tracking and blink detection system that uses AI to track the user's face and detect if they are blinking. This project was written entirely using Python with OpenCV and Mediapipe libraries. These libraries use AI to track the user's face and hands. You are able to track their blinking by tracking the vertices that move around their eyes. This project is more simple but stil very cool
Feel free to reach out to me for opportunities or collaborations!
